Big Screen Notebook

The Acer Aspire 1520 notebook PC is equipped with a 2.0 GHz Mobile AMD Athlon 64 processor 3000+, 80 GB internal hard drive and active matrix 15.4-inch XGA+TFT display with a maximum resolution of 1400 x 1050. It also features 512 MB of DDR SDRAM -- upgradeable to 1,024 MB -- two integrated stereo speakers and built-in microphone. The 7.9-pound notebook incorporates up to a 60 GB removable hard drive and a hot-swappable media bay, enabling users to access data on a variety of media including a DVD/CD-RW or DVD-R. In addition to wireless 802.11b/g support, the 1520 offers four USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire (IEEE 1394) port, 10/100/1000 LAN connection and a 56K modem.

Video Conference System

The TANDBERG 1500 MXP conference and presentation system features a 17-inch widescreen LCD that can be used as a PC monitor to save workspace. It provides 2 Mbps video calls and CD-quality stereo audio. Users can share documents, and join as many as four video sites and three audio sites with embedded MultiSite functionality. The system offers a choice of networks: IP -- up to 2 Mbps, optionally with ISDN up to 512 Kbps. There is also a PC card slot for wireless LAN connection.

Fast Colors

Riso's HC5000 full color ComColor printer prints as many as 105 pages per minute at sizes as large as 11 x 17 inches. The printer can handle as many as 250,000 copies per month. The controller consists of a 40 GB hard drive and 1.2 GHz processor and Adobe PostScript 3. With optional 11x17-inch scanning capabilities, users can scan brochures, proposals, letters, maps, textbooks and photos in color at the touch of a button. Other options include a large-scale touchscreen panel, punching, stapling, booklet creation and 2,500-sheet capacity.

Hideaway Mouse

Think Outside's Stowaway Travel Mouse is a portable Bluetooth mouse for notebook PCs, smart phones and PDAs. The mouse supports Pocket Word, Excel, Messaging and other Pocket PC applications, and uses right-click and scroll-wheel features for easy navigation. The mouse comes with two AAA alkaline batteries, a carrying case, a CD with Pocket PC drivers and startup guide.
