Raid Array
The StorageWorks RAID Array 410 is a RAID subsystem available for multiplatform environments. Through enhanced Version 2.7 firmware, the RAID Array 410 performance has been increased to 4,350 I/Os with a single controller configuration. This enables customers with heavy I/O loads to achieve higher throughput since more requests can be handled simultaneously. Those customers with less demanding I/O operations benefit from an even shorter response time from their systems.

Enterprise Storage System
The Symmetrix Enterprise Storage Platform provides simultaneous storage of mainframe and open systems data on the same Symmetrix 5000 ICDA system. The product is the first information storage solution to combine mainframe-class I/O performance and continuous data availability for all major heterogeneous CPU platforms. This provides asset protection and flexibility for customers with both mainframe and open systems in the same data center, as well as a single storage platform for customers planning to migrate from mainframes to open systems.

Optical Filing
The EF-3000 is an electronic filing system that can store up to 40,000 documents on a single optical disc. Using Windows and DOS-based architecture, the unit's optical discs can save 40,000 documents -- the equivalent of three four-drawer file cabinets.

The EF-3000 system consists of a powerful 486-series PC, a 17-inch SVGA monitor, a 1.2 gigabyte Magneto Optical Disk drive, and 40-page-per-minute scanner. The system is controlled by software featuring an intuitive interface that makes document input, indexing, storage, retrieval and output quick and easy.

Storage Subsystem
The nStor CR8 subsystem was created for organizations that are using high-capacity networks for mission-critical applications and data storage, and require seven-day-a-week, 24-hour access. The highly scalable subsystem is ideal for companies or organizations with smaller networks that plan significant growth and want to minimize storage investment over time.

The subsystem is the industry's first product to support the SAF-TE (SCSI Accessed Fault-Tolerant Enclosures) specification. Products compliant with the SAF-TE specification will reduce the cost of managing storage enclosures by providing a method for sending and receiving information using standard interfaces as well as new SCSI standards and protocols as they evolve.

Data Silo
The Data Silo DS500 Tower is a nine-bay RAID-compatible storage enclosure. Configured as a daisy-chained storage enclosure for up to nine half-height SCSI devices, or wired radically as a RAID-ready enclosure capable of housing seven devices and one full-height RAID controller, Kingston offers several internal wiring cable sets for the DS500. For the flexibility of removeable drives, the Data Express removable drive carriers are ideal for use within the DS500 chassis. A variety of external SCSI interconnect cables and terminators compatible with the Data Silo enclosures are also available.

Storage Management
Storage Administrator is an SNMP-based networked storage control facility for RAID 7 storage servers. The open, standards-based product provides unparalleled, network-based storage management capabilities and scales up to 192 heterogeneous host attachments.

Storage Administrator offers management statistics, performance-analysis tools and control information. For the first time, managers can access full information on operations, environmental characteristics, I/O activities and performance data on a per-drive, per-array, per-channel and per-host basis.
