Book Review: Living with Climate Change

Now is the time to become more engaged in the issue that will consume us in the future.

There is a new book out on climate change, see Living with Climate Change: How Communities Are Surviving and Thriving in a Changing Climate

The impacts of climate change are going to be a major factor that emergency managers will have to deal with in the coming years and decades. If you don't know anything on the topic, even if you a denier, this would be a good book to read since you get a variety of opinions from multiple authors and the focus is on disasters and community resilience.

Emergency Management magazine is carrying a quick book review I did on the topic, check out Living with Climate Change  In the book I had contributed a section of a chapter in which I address climate adaptation. An abridged copy of what I wrote is in the above link.

Lastly, I noted that the Amazon copy of the book has the Kindle version costing more than the print edition.  First time I've ever seen that!
