Callyo Names Steve Ressler its New President Ressler, founder of GovLoop, is taking over the helm at the growing police tech startup after leaving GovLoop earlier this year. The company's founder, Chris Bennett, will focus instead on building out its products.
 
Seminole County, Fla., to Accept Payments in Bitcoin — Sort Of Likely the first in the nation to do so, the county is using a third-party vendor to allow users with Bitcoin and its cousin Bitcoin Cash to pay in cryptocurrency. It will then convert it to U.S. dollars and send it to the county tax collector.
 
IBM Lets National Lab, University Use Quantum Computing Power in the South The company has developed some early quantum computing processors, and now it's letting students, faculty and researchers at a couple institutions use them.


How Are States With Lots of Seniors Regulating Autonomous Vehicles? There's a big group of people reaching senior citizen status soon, and as they begin to lose the ability to drive themselves they will present a transportation challenge. And as it turns out, they are packed disproportionately into certain states.
