OpenGov, Neighborly Raise $55M Betwen Them Continuing a hot streak of funding news for gov tech companies, two more startups have posted capital round figures. OpenGov, which offers open data, budgeting and collaboration tools to state and local agencies, announced a $30 million Series C round and hinted at some upcoming product launches. Meanwhile, the municipal debt crowdfunding company Neighborly closed on a $25 million Series A round. The Emerson Collective, the impact investing group led by Laurene Powell Jobs, took a leading position on both rounds.
