What's the newest way to deduce how you got the flu?

January 9, 2013 By

Answer: using Facebook's "Help, I have the Flu" app

If you've got a Facebook account and you've contracted the flu, this new app will help you find the infector. It searches your friends' status updates for such words as "flu," "sneezing" and "coughing," and takes into consideration the times of friends' posts. Several posts late at night, for instance, could indicate that a person hasn't been catching enough Zs and might have caught, and therefore passed along, the bug, the Huffington Post reports.

Aren't yet sick but wonder who might infect you? The app includes prime suspects for that too.
