Answer: using fingerprint recognition technology
According to The Daily Mail, Apple is one of several companies getting ready to use fingerprint recognition on its devices -- and the new iPhone will allow owners to identify themselves by pressing a finger onto the handset.
But fingerprint recognition isn't the only thing being examined -- Google, which makes Android phones, is looking at voice recognition, iris scanners, behavioral biometrics and heartbeat reading.
"It’s a case of looking beyond passwords and the best alternatives are provided by smartphones," Michael Barratt, head of security at PayPal, told The Daily Mail. "The general view is that Apple will launch a fingerprint-enabled iPhone before the end of the year."

Great security ideas, but has anyone ever looked at how to catch the criminals breaking into our electronic lives in the first place. Catch a few and make shining examples of them worldwide and I would suspect we will not need such heightened security around the globe. The proces of electronic devices has skyrocketed and costs are, I am sure, in part due to the enormous amount of security consulting needed, in addition to R&D. I'm getting to a point that I need a list in my pocket of all my accounts and the 45 different passwords it takes to access them. It's starting to get just a little annonying...but, just a little.
