By what percentage did CIOs say their organizations were understaffed in terms of the ratio of IT support staff to employees?

Answer: 42 percent. The survey, conducted by Robert Half Technology, found that CIOs interviewed said the average ratio of end-users to tech support staff stood at 112:1. The ideal ratio, CIOs said, is 65:1. You can find the press release and a link to the report here.
