In what some are calling one of the largest security breaches ever, how many Sony customers may have had their accounts compromised by hackers?

Answer: 77 million. The hacker(s) was able to obtain names, addresses, phone numbers, user names, birth dates, e-mail addresses and passwords for virtually every user of Sony's PlayStation Network. Less certain was whether customer credit card data was accessed. "While there is no evidence at this time that credit card data was taken, we cannot rule out the possibility. If you have provided your credit card data through PlayStation Network or Qriocity, out of an abundance of caution, we are advising you that your credit card number (excluding security code) and expiration date may have been obtained," said company spokesman Patrick Seybold.
