What new dating fad involves dirty T-shirts?

June 26, 2012 By

Answer: pheromone parties

The up-and-coming dating method asks participants to bring a slept-in T-shirt to the party for others to smell. The idea is that party goers will choose a scent of someone they may be attracted to, according to USA Today.

Researchers have found that humans use scent as a method for weeding out genetic combinations that could lead to weaker offspring.

How about political affiliation instead?

Isn't this largely what dogs do? Sounds pretty gross to me. Perhaps a little idle chit-chat might do just as well or better for finding a mate. Moreover, is it always about the breeding? Sure seems to be the overwhelming attitude out there of "We'll overpopulate this planet or else!" China may be on to something at this point.
