July 22, 2011 By

Answer: 37 percent.

The study, conducted by Retrevo.com - a consumer electronics shopping and review site, asked 1,000 adults whether they've ever checked a spouse's email or call history without their spouse knowing. 41 percent of female respondents said they had, as did 32 percent of male respondents.

Parents are also snooping on their children - 39 percent of mothers and 26 percent of fathers said they had done some digital digging on what their kids were up to.
