The IEEE 802.22 standard will allow wireless devices to use the white space left over from analog TV. How fast will data speeds be?

Answer: Up to 22Mbps

According to a report from Ars Technica, "The new IEEE standard, 802.22-capable equipment will broadcast WRANs (wireless regional area networks) that can deliver signal to around 62 miles away at rates of up to 22Mbps."
