Virginia Gov. Timothy Kaine today encouraged organizations and individuals to work from home or from a remote location on Monday August 3. Kaine in a release said that telework promotes workplace efficiency, reduces traffic and is green and family friendly. Businesses are encouraged to participate as a way to test business continuity plans for an emergency. Signups and additional resources can be located online at the Telework Exchange.
