In April, federal CIO Vivek Kundra laid out an agenda that includes taking a critical look at the performance and value of government IT investments, promoting greater use of cloud computing, and developing new ways to deliver government data and services in the context of citizens' digital lives.

Kundra made his remarks in Baltimore at the midyear conference of the National Association of State Chief Information Officers.
