John Conley to Head Colorado Statewide Internet Portal Authority

Colorado CIO Michael Locatis (pictured) today announced that effective July 1, Deputy State CIO John Conley will become executive director of the Statewide Internet Portal Authority (SIPA). "John has served as deputy state CIO for the past two and a half years," said Locatis in a statement, "and has worked tirelessly to help build a new OIT and improve the state of Colorado. We have all witnessed John's innovative capability in achieving real results for the state and our citizens. And I have been continually impressed by his passion for government and his ability to craft policy that is effective, concise and supported by the majority of those involved. Through dedication and hard work, John has helped Governor Ritter and I build a team and technological infrastructure that will prepare Colorado for the next generation."

Conley will lead the operations of the Colorado.gov portal, and will further develop the portal design and functionality.
