Public CIO Magazine Surveys Readers on IT Governance Issues

The increased focus on IT Governance has prompted Public CIO Magazine (PCIO) to survey its readers to determine what elements of IT Governance are of key concern to public Sector IT leaders and to help them assess their organizations IT Governance maturity models against similar public sector enterprises and agencies.

Similar surveys have been conducted in the private sector such as the report just released by the non-profit, independent IT Governance Institute (ITGI). But the concerns of public sector IT leaders are very different from their private sector counterparts. Readers of PCIO can participate in the 2008 IT Governance Survey by going to the IT Governance Resource Center sponsored by CA at http://www.govtech.com/pcio/.

Participants in the survey can elect to receive an email version of the results to use to benchmark their organizations IT Governance maturity model and can also receive complimentary access to two research reports:
