Photo of the Week - Astronauts' View of Earth at Night

Those of us on the Earth's surface can now get a glimpse of what it's like for astronauts on the International Space Station once the sun sets. A stitched-together time-lapse of images taken from the ISS window shows how the Earth looks at night, and because navigation is a bit difficult, NASA chief geoscientist Justin Wilkinson explains what you’re seeing.
