Photo of the Week - LEDs Illuminate London's Tower Bridge

June 5, 2012 By

For the London 2012 Olympics, 1,800 LED lightbulbs and more than 6,500 feet of linear LED lights were installed on the Tower Bridge, aimed at brightening the landmark and highlighting its architectural features, according to The Telegraph. The lights were switched on for the first time last Wednesday evening, and helped illuminate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee last weekend.

This view of the Tower Bridge is from Guoman Hotel, with red, white and blue lighting.
