A 180-acre tourist attraction in Las Vegas, the Springs Preserve Desert Living Center (DLC)  comprises seven buildings that feature dozens of interactive exhibits, classrooms and meeting space. These buildings are certified Platinum LEED by the U.S. Green Building Council; they embody the preserve’s message of sustainability.

The DLC also has a Sustainability Gallery, which teaches about living a more eco-friendly lifestyle through interactive exhibits; children's play areas; and a house full of sustainable appliances, fixtures and decor.

Coming in October, we'll take a detailed look at the Springs Preserve, and the buildings and technology that teach visitors how to live in harmony with the environment. This gallery is a sneak peek of what you’ll see and read on govtech.com next month!
