Last week, California CIO Teri Takai met with vendors on the first anniversary of the Office of the CIO (OCIO) to go over the state's IT strategic plan, detail what projects are coming down the pipeline, and -- as she said -- enlist private-sector help in the process. Takai presented a detailed look into the state's IT strategy which is moving forward, she said, in spite of some significant budget challenges.
