Bill Schrier, Seattle CTO (pictured), has been elected president of the Metropolitan Information Exchange (MIX) for the coming year, according to a release from the city. MIX is a national organization of CIOs and key technology executives of city and county governments with populations over 100,000. Schrier also chairs the King County Regional Communications Board and the Puget Sound Regional Interoperability Executive Committee.
