PC Guardian announced the launch of Encryption Plus Email 3.0. This enterprise software uses public-private key technology to automatically encrypt and decrypt e-mail messages between users without key servers, certificate authorities or other elements of public key infrastructure. The software features centralized administrative capabilities, including administrative key recovery, strong password-management controls and the ability to configure user program settings, as well as a peer-to-peer method of key exchange. Pricing starts at $3,200 for a maximum of 50 users.

Array of Traffic
Array Networks launched its Array SR (security reconnaissance) Series, a wire-speed network-traffic analyzer that detects potential security breaches and network abuse across TCP/IP-based protocols. The Array SR helps companies and law enforcement organizations securely scan, analyze and record incoming and outgoing network traffic -- including e-mail, instant messages and chat -- in compliance with homeland security and electronic surveillance laws. Array SR scans, analyzes and records Internet traffic, including http, POP, IMAP and SMTP transmissions at gigabit wire speed. The data is digitally signed and encrypted using HSM secure key repository and crypto acceleration.

Rugged Research
CyberResearch upgraded its rugged NBX series of portable PCs with 1.4 GHz CPUs for faster data gathering in the field. Models combine five or six built-in drive bays with three ISA slots and three, five or six PCI slots. The product also includes 128 MB of RAM, a 40 GB hard drive, CD-ROM, floppy drive and a detachable 108-key keyboard. The PCs come with 14.1-inch, 15.1-inch or 15.4-inch TFT LCD color displays. A sliding door on the side of each unit provides easy access to all I/O ports and expansion slots. Pricing starts at $1,495.

Latis Networks released StillSecure Border Guard Wireless, a wireless security solution that enables multilevel access control and intrusion prevention. The product allows organizations to securely use the 802.11a and 802.11b wireless access protocols. It protects networks by controlling WLAN access and blocking malicious intrusions and attacks. IT administrators can control individual wireless device access to the Internet or internal networks. Attacks are blocked before they enter the network and cause irreparable harm.
