overall "A" grades, with the two companies also the only printer manufacturers to receive top scores for "Buy again from this maker." Apple and Tektronix received the lowest overall scores from users.
On the other hand, Canon received the top score from users on reliability in PC World magazine's latest survey. HP, Epson and Kodak received average scores along with four other printer manufacturers. Dell and Lexmark received the lowest reliability scores in this survey.
A final piece of advice: Multifunction printers are very convenient, but if you're printing many snapshots or making a lot of copies, it can be more cost-effective to use a dedicated service, such as the online photo service Snapfish or your local copy shop.
