Justice Data Sharing Earmarks Made in Federal Budget

The South Carolina Judicial Department will receive $9.4 million in federal funds. The money will support the department's case management system implementation. The system will be set up for justice agencies in South Carolina's 46 counties to share information.

The counties of Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester will receive $2.5 million for their efforts to set up an information sharing system.

New Hampshire will receive $3 million for the J-ONE information system. The California Department of Justice will also receive $3 million for justice data sharing initiatives, and $2 million each will be provided to the Virginia Criminal Justice Services Department and the Criminal Information Sharing Alliance Network for states along the Southwest border.
