Which popular flip phone may return as a folding smartphone?

Answer: The Motorola Razr.

Arguably one of the most popular devices of the flip phone era, the Motorola Razr may be staging a comeback in the age of the smartphone.

According to CNET, the Wall Street Journal reported that Lenovo, which owns Motorola, may be partnering with Verizon to reinvent the Razr. A prototype device is reportedly in testing and could be revealed in February.

Rumor has it the new model would be a folding-screen smartphone (a relatively brand-new idea in the mobile device world) and would carry a $1,500 price tag. This would make it more expensive than Apple’s latest iPhones.
