Does the drone/camera/wristband called Nixie really work?

During a live demonstration at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show, the creators of Nixie – the device that’s part wristband, part camera, part drone – unveiled a prototype. As shown in this video, the much-anticipated device appears functional in its early stages of development.
