Answer: email that self-destructs

The latest challenge for companies and public-sector organizations that have implemented bring your own device policies is a new wave of apps that allow employees to send emails -- and text messages and photos -- that self-destruct.

An app called Snapchat lets users text self-destructing photos in real time, and the Wickr app lets users send encrypted multimedia messages that self-destruct after a set amount of time, InformationWeek reported. Voice, text and audio messages sent via Wickr delete themselves after a period of time, and the app "encrypts everything and it also scrubs content from the file system, making it hard for anybody to know what was sent or if anything was sent," according to InformationWeek.
