It won’t allow the wearer to fly, but the head of U.S. Special Operations Command reported this month that a new prototype for a suit similar to the suit worn by Iron Man in movies and comics would be revealed in June. Three versions of the Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit (TALOS) will be tested in the coming years, with the expectation that a finished version of the suit will be available for deployment by August 2018.
