How is Google helping people be better artists?

Answer: AutoDraw

With its new artificial intelligence experiment, Google is helping turn your doodles into easily recognizable drawings — fast.

AutoDraw uses machine learning technology paired with all kinds of drawings from different artists to recognize what you’re drawing and suggest replacements. It uses the same artificial intelligence technology as Google’s game-based drawing platform QuickDraw.

Say you want a picture of balloons to add to a party invitation. Open the AutoDraw site from any device and start drawing your best version of balloons. The software will then go through its database and show you different balloon options to replace it with. Add colors and text, then download the image as a .png file or share directly to social media.

And to make the tool even smarter, artists can submit their own drawings to add to AutoDraw's database.
