One of Google Assistant’s new voice offerings belongs to which famous musician?

Answer: John Legend.

At its annual I/O conference in Mountain View, Calif., Tuesday, Google announced that it will be rolling out a new version if its artificial intelligence assistant. This version includes six new voices — one of which will be that of singer/songwriter John Legend. Google hopes that bringing in Legend, as well as other big names in the future, will help humanize its AI platform and give it a more unique personality.

The other new voices will be both male and female. Google is using a machine learning technology called Wavenet, which it began building out over a year ago, to build the new version of Assistant. The company is also using the technology to work on adding custom dialects to the AI on a worldwide scale.
