What does the Light Phone allow people to do?

The Light Phone is a Kickstarter project with just a few weeks left. The idea of the device is to create the opposite of a smartphone. The Light Phone can make and receive phone calls, and is “designed to be used as little as possible.” 

“It works with your existing phone, allowing you to comfortably disconnect,” a video explains. 

It’s the size of a credit card and uses phone technology from a decade ago. The Light Phone is for people who want to disconnect for a little while, but not completely.
