What unexpected devices did a rock climber use to scale the face of a skyscraper?
Answer: two cordless vacuum cleaners
As a publicity stunt for LG’s cordless suction vacuum cleaners, rock climber Sierra Blair-Coyle used two of the machines to scale a 33-story building in less than 30 minutes. Equipped with a safety-harness, she had to stop halfway to swap out her batteries, but she made it to the top without incident. A video of the stunt, filmed in scenic South Korea, can be viewed below.
