More than 40 million American have nasal allergies (otherwise known as “hay fever”), and springtime allergy triggers – primarily tree pollen – cause symptoms like itchy runny nose, nasal and sinus congestion, repeated sneezing, watery eyes, inflamed sinuses and, in severe cases, difficulty breathing, according to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, which ranked the 100 most challenging places to live with allergies.
