What old technology is still keeping up production despite competition from computers and other digital technology?

According to a Reuters article, German pencil manufacturer Faber-Castell is still running at high production. Rising demand for pencils in “emerging markets” is partially to account for the survival of the company, which turned a profit last year, reporting $798 million in sales.
