What can police departments use social media for besides policing?

Answer: Challenging each other to lip sync battles.

And accepting those challenges, of course.

Norfolk Police Department of Virginia was among those recently challenged by Texas’ Corinth Police Department to a lip sync battle on social media. The challenge was accepted, and Norfolk PD posted a video of their performance on Facebook on July 9. They performed Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk, beginning inside the building with just a few officers and ending with a dance party outside by the cruisers and some firetrucks.

Norfolk Police also passed on the challenge, calling on the Seattle Police Department, Norfolk Constabulary, Virginia Beach Police Department, and St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
