Which famous piece of classical music did Siemens recreate with wind sounds?

Answer: The Blue Danube Waltz, by Johann Strauss

After securing a contract to build the nation’s largest on-shore wind power installation in southeast Iowa, Siemens sent musician Will Bates to Iowa where he recreated Strauss’ Blue Danube with microphones, PVC pipes and the power of wind.

The piece can be heard in the video above, and Fast Company hosts a mini-documentary of the musician’s trip.
