Drones will soon take on what pesky problem in Florida?

Answer: Mosquitoes

Since 1929, Florida has been trying to control the mosquito population to curtail the spread of disease and to make life generally more pleasant. This month, the Florida Mosquito Control District will deploy a drone equipped with an infrared camera to determine whether waterborne mosquito larvae can be detected from the air. If successful, the information could save the organization time in locating spawning pools. They may even outfit the drones with mosquito bombs or spray to complete the job.
