A new study published by InterCall shows that 65 percent of conference callers do other work while on the phone, 55 percent eat or make food, and 47 percent use the bathroom. Calling into a conference call remotely is a rising trend, the study found, with the total number of mobile calls up 19 percent from 2012 to 2013. About 27 percent of survey respondents reported that they have fallen asleep during a conference call.
