The city department of transport reported that many buses in the city will implement free Wi-Fi in cooperation with hardware vendors that will provide equipment in exchange for advertising inside the buses. Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam, has more than 3,000 buses and 270 routes, meeting the transport needs of roughly seven percent of the population, according to an English language news website.
