We've all done it -- gotten overzealous about that cup of Joe in the morning or that delicious bowl of soup for lunch and burned our poor little tongues. Though the tongue is considered the fastest healing organ in the body, that burn still hurts!
Now there's immediate relief for the pain -- dissolvable oral strips that are applied directly to the burned part of the tongue, cheek or roof of the mouth (that's right, it works for pizza lovers too!). The strip was designed for controlled delivery of a local anesthetic, benzocaine and a therapeutic polymer.
