Build the Concorde. Initially 100 Concordes were put on non-binding order by an array of airlines, though only 20 were ever built, and only British Airways and Air France ever operated them. The Concorde was a perennial money loser. Following the Concorde's only fatal accident in July, 2000 and the decline in air travel following 9/11, the Concorde was retired in 2003.
