The restaurant offers patrons half off their meal if they agree to turn off their phones, and most people have reportedly done so. Illinois-lottery winning owner Jawdat Ibrahim reportedly came up with the idea when he noticed that people weren’t talking to each other and some people even asked to have their meals reheated because they were so distracted by their phones.
