How many teenagers stopped using Facebook since spring 2014?

Answer: 27 percent

New survey results published by investment banking company Piper Jeffray showed that only 45 percent of teenagers surveyed are now using Facebook, compared with 72 percent surveyed in the spring.

The survey was given to 7,200 teenagers who lived in 41 states and had an average family income of $59,000. Instagram was the most popular social media network among those surveyed, with 76 percent of respondents reporting usage, followed by Twitter at 59 percent. Just 8 percent reported not using social media at all.
