Facebook Exec Chris Kelly Explores Run for California Attorney General

Served as a policy advisor for the Clinton administration's White House Domestic Policy Council and Department of Education.

 

Facebook's Chief Privacy Officer Chris Kelly announced today that in 2010, he may run for California Attorney General. Current AG Jerry Brown is exploring a run for governor. Kelly is an attorney, an expert on intellectual property and Internet privacy, and served as a policy adviser for the Clinton administration's White House Domestic Policy Council and Department of Education. According to information on Kelly's site, at Facebook, he works with attorneys general from across the nation, and has developed and implemented technology features to protect young people.

 

Wayne E.
