Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office Implements GPS

New Mexico agency deploys criminal tracking system.

SANTA ROSA, N.M. -- The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office of New Mexico has entered into an agreement for iSECUREtrac's tracNET24 criminal justice tracking system. Guadalupe County will initially deploy both passive and active GPS tracking systems on offenders.

"This technology will give us a better understanding of offender location 24 hours a day and will be a vast improvement to traditional house arrest devices," said Sheriff Robert Chavez of Guadalupe County.
