ImageWare Expands Solution

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Santa Rosa Police Department and Multnomah Sheriff's Office use Existing Crime Capture Systems To Produce Employee IDs

SAN DIEGO -- ImageWare Systems announced that the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC), Santa Rosa Police Department, and Multnomah Sheriff's Office have expanded their existing Crime Capture Systems (CCS) to enable the secure production of employee ID cards. These law enforcement organizations are currently using ImageWare's CCS solution to capture, store and retrieve digital mug shots and booking information.

"By leveraging our existing CCS system, ADC will be able to reliably and quickly produce all employee ID cards throughout our 11 facilities," said Kim Smith, ADC project manager. "We have increased operational efficiency by using ImageWare's system to produce inmate identification cards; it was obvious to crossover to add this new capability for our employee IDs."

Through its robust digital imaging solution and comprehensive databases, CCS can be used for other imaging purposes such as printing employee ID cards, creating wristbands with prisoner photos and barcodes, and building a gang or sex offender database.
