Ohio is developing a portfolio of commercial cloud services designed to save money and speed up the deployment of valuable services. Among other things, the state makes growing use of the hosted Salesforce development platform to streamline app creation, said Ohio CIO Stu Davis, in an interview with Government Technology at the NASCIO 2015 Midyear Conference. Davis also predicts a shift to cloud-based storage in the future.
