CivicPlus, SilverSky Partner on Cyber as Security Risks Rise

With hacks and data leaks happening left and right, cybersecurity is only becoming more important as time goes on. That applies even moreso in government, where a breach could mean anything from citizens not receiving desperately needed help to foreign adversaries meddling in elections.

CivicPlus, one of the most popular website builders for local government, has now picked an official cyber partner in SilverSky. That means SilverSky will be offering CivicPlus’ customers a variety of options: managed security services, detection and response, incident response, compliance services and incident response readiness.

While good cybersecurity posture for websites is important, the partnership will extend beyond that. CivicPlus has been expanding its product offerings in recent years and now sells software for human resources, parks and recreation, meeting agendas and SeeClickFix as well.

The company’s reach extends across the U.S., with more than 4,000 local governments as customers.
