NEOGOV Acquires HR Software Veteran High Line Corp.

It's the second acquisition for NEOGOV in the last year.

NEOGOV, a technology company focused on human resources software for the public sector, has acquired a veteran HR software company.

Based in California, NEOGOV is taking over Ontario, Canada-based High Line Corp. High Line has been around for nearly 30 years, and offers software to help hire employees, administer payroll and benefits, and manage training. NEOGOV has much of the same functionality.

This is the second acquisition NEOGOV has announced since it took private equity investment from the firm Warburg Pincus in 2016. Last year, it acquired the workforce training company FirstNet Learning.

"One of our guiding principles is to ensure our clients are kept current with technologies, which is why we are excited to integrate High Line's solutions with NEOGOV’s customer-focused suite of talent management software," said Megan Rogister, High Line’s president, in a press release. "Bringing together the two companies creates a powerful and completely integrated HR suite."

NEOGOV has more than 6,000 clients in the public sector and education, according to the statement.

The company didn’t disclose terms of the acquisition.
