Springbrook Software, a popular vendor of ERP for local government, has put out a new mobile app for field work orders.

The app, Springbrook Mobile Work Orders, is specifically integrated into the company’s utility billing software. That means employees in the field can use it to share or access account information, meter readings and photos, among other data. Users can filter work orders by priority, status, assignment and more.

“By taking unnecessary travel, paper and manual processing out of the equation we are creating new efficiencies and relieving burdens from a local government agency’s already stressed field workforce,” said Springbrook CEO Robert Bonavito in a press release.

The app was built with technology from PUBLIQ, another ERP vendor that Springbrook acquired in February. It’s available in the Google Play Store as well as the Apple App Store and is compatible with Android and iOS mobile phones and tablets, according to the statement.

Springbrook, based in Oregon, works with more than 2,000 local government agencies in seven countries. The company was a part of Accela until 2020, when it took on new ownership from private equity firm Accel-KKR.
